Title: esports and business development consultant
Date: April 2018 to March 2020
Customer: Académie Esports de Montréal (then Académie Esports du Canada)

Before I was hired as project manager for “Reconnecte-Toi!” in June 2019 (see portfolio), my relationship with the Académie Esports de Montréal (AEM) was special. As well as loving their vision, the founder of this project was Patrick Pigeon, one of my greatest partners in the esports scene. Talking to Mr. Pigeon almost every day, I advised him and did my best to find solutions to the problems he entrusted to me. This free consultation was available to all AEM team members. In addition, I provided them with the resources and tools I had developed over the years and which were available in my boutique (see portfolio).

On my own time, I also took the initiative of contacting the principal of Édouard-Montpetit high school as a former student. I was in their water polo sports-study program. At this meeting, I managed to convince and reassure management of the relevance of having esports. I then put them in direct contact with AEM. A similar scenario unfolded with Collège Reine-Marie, whom I approached with Leonin.ca as a consultant and convinced to take the plunge into esports.

The two esports concentrations in Montreal were the foundation on which the AEM expanded into other regions, eventually becoming the Esports Academy of Canada.
