Military career

Date: July 2009 to January 2015
Diplomas obtained:
– Bachelor of Arts in Military and Strategic Studies* (Royal Military College of Canada, 2014)
– Diploma of Collegial Studies in Social Sciences (Collège militaire royal de St-Jean, 2011)

* The specialization, which I cancelled following the birth of my daughter, was a research project on the application of video games in the military field. The three angles researched were: training, recruitment and treatment of PTSD.

Qualifications and
– Basic military qualifications for officers

– DP1 NCM Field artillery
– ROTP (at the Royal Military College of Canada)
– Second language training
– Advanced leadership training
– Advanced training in suicide and addiction prevention
– Advanced first aid training

Tasks
– Leading men and women at section and platoon level..
– Conduct an orientation program for recruits
– Staff instructor for the ALOY program (Aboriginal Leadership Opportunity Year Program)
– International relations with other military delegations and with the Canadian delegation in India
– Interviews, article writing and video editing.
– Sometimes official representative of RMC St-Jean at the Canadian Club
