After more than sixty hours according to Steam, I finally reached 100% of the overall progression suggested by the game this summer. I loved my experience! If you’re a big Harry Potter fan, the opportunity to lose yourself in Hogwarts is magical. For me, it was almost as if my childhood dream of living in this universe had come true. I also enjoyed being able to explore the surroundings of the mythical Harry Potter locations in more detail.
It was while walking around Hogsmeade that I wanted to try several butterbeer recipes, which you could see on my Instagram.

Of course, the game has some flaws. Here are a few:
First, I think it’s stupid that our actions don’t have real consequences in the world. For example, you can spam Avada Kedavra in a room full of people, and no one reacts. A reputation system would have been nice.
Second, there’s no Quidditch?! I know WB Games announced a standalone game afterward, but it could have been in this game.
Then there’s the matter of the very last area, which seems… pointless? When I got there, I really felt like it was superfluous and irrelevant.
Finally, the developers should have considered being able to lock down the chosen cosmetics. Throughout the game, the player regularly finds equipment that is slightly better than what he is wearing. I am rather neutral on this subject. What I don’t like, however, is having to go to a submenu of a submenu every time to be able to change the appearance I want to have. This happens because the cosmetic is applied to the item in question, and not to the item category. I quickly gave up having the cosmetics I liked; including those received by pre-ordering.

Otherwise, great game!
