Impressions de la deuxième journée de conférences!
Sony
The orchestra gave me chills from the very beginning of the presentation, especially with the announcement of God of War 4. The atmosphere, at once theatrical, classy and professional, was really good.
Days Gone seemed interesting at first, but they kind of lost me with the waves of zombies arriving by the hundreds and the seemingly infinite supply of bullets.
Horizon still remains a mystery to me… I can’t wait to see the explanation behind the fact that all the animals are robotic dinosaurs that can be corrupted by demons…
Detroit Become Human is my surprise of the entire conference. I love games with multiple possible endings.
Sony is the only company so far that has truly delivered something interesting in VR with AAA games. Coming out on October 13, 2016, for $399 USD and with a promise of at least 50 compatible games, such as Star Wars and Batman Arkham, the PlayStation.VR is very interesting.
Well, the moment everyone following the competitive FPS scene has been waiting for… Let’s watch the video first:
At the beginning of the video, it was really difficult to know what the game was. I thought it was a game featuring a universe similar to Battlestar Galactica or Halo, but against other human nations. Then the character started shooting, that’s when the doubts began. During the « Breach » scene, I immediately recognized Call of Duty. By the end of the video, I was convinced that the e-sports aspect would take a hit. Conversely, the campaign aspect seems extremely interesting and I might buy it when it’s on sale, but almost exclusively for the single-player mode.
In a sentence: Entertaining but very uninformative conference.
